Many of the manufacturer’s goods that we deal in have a variety of styles in order to match a number of consumer’s tastes. They’ll provide rustic designs as well as modern and minimalist to appease fans of retro arrangements and more forward-minded thinkers. However, Vola has decided to forgo this multifaceted approach and offers one cohesive statement in their available bathroom and kitchen products.
Their approach is a purely geometric aesthetic- they use a cylinder for all of their water delivery systems. Their faucets, showers, valves, thermostats and mixers are all cylindrical in shape, with no sharp edge or square shapes in the entire range. It’s a Danish design choice by Arne Jacobsen that’s renowned all over the bath and kitchen design world, as well as in the arts; he has some of his work in the New York Museum of Modern Art.
Just because Vola’s wall mounted faucets and bathroom accessories approximate art, doesn’t mean they are flimsy or impractical. All of their mixers, taps and accessories are made out of solid brass and gun metal, with a few components in stainless steel. In addition their valve housings are made using a dezincification resistant brass. Their faucets and taps also have environmentally friendly aerators pre-installed, flush with the design so they do not protrude. You’ll save water and it won’t interrupt the visual flow of your bathroom either.
